The Spinthaki family is occupying in tourism with pleasure since 1980. They have Marilena Apartments to welcome their guests to a quiet, warm and friendly environment, in order to offer them a comfortable stay.
The Marilena apartments is a family run business, which is located in Messara bay in the south of Crete 980m from the famous Beach of Matala with the caves. (10 minutes by feet – 2 minutes by car, a pleasure journey). The area is one of the most spectacular places of Crete as it is a historic place where ancient Minoans lived in there. In the 60s and 70s it was the place of the flower power kids who sent love and piece messages to all over the world.
The building, consists of three wonderful apartments, that they are fully equipped, can accommodate big families with children as well as groups. Each apartment has a terrace with lawn, a private parking but also a swimming pool which is at the family hotel Marina that is 20 meters distance from our apartments.
With your reservation we grant you a free meal in our family tavern Eleni which is located in Matala beach.
